We are proud to announce that ECAT has successfully completed the stringent Financial Supplier Qualification System (FSQS) certification process, a benchmark used by a community major banks and financial institutions such as Banks of Ireland, Bank of England and Santander, to assess inherent risk when selecting suppliers.

Managed by Hellios, FSQS is an accreditation system for the financial sector that recognises the highest standards in security, quality, and innovation.  Through collaboration with peers, the FSQS community facilitates a pooling of knowledge and expertise to determine the best approaches to meeting regulatory requirements. Hellios then provides an objective, standardised and validated system for collecting supplier information and managing compliance assurance. In this way, FSQS ensures responsible business practices through due diligence to help its buyer customers meet their regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.

This accreditation requires suppliers such as ECAT to be audited against FSQS requirements across all key risk control areas including information/cyber security, data privacy, business continuity, financial crime, conduct risk, financial, legal, and corporate responsibility.

Francis Lyons CEO of ECAT, commented:

“This is a great step forward for ECAT as provides further evidence that as a company we take pride in the fact that we follow responsible business practices and full organisational transparency. The FSQS endorsement reassures our customers that we have gone through a rigorous process and embedded the necessary systems and controls required by major Irish and UK financial institutions.”
