ECAT Group was thrilled to be involved in this year’s Facilities Management Awards, which were held at the Royal Dublin Convention Centre recently.
The glittering annual event brings together leading organisations and professionals from across the facilities management sector to celebrate industry excellence and showcase the strength and diversity of the facilities management community – from service providers and technology partners to operational leaders and frontline teams.
As a platinum sponsor of this year’s awards, ECAT was proud to support a celebration of excellence, innovation and professionalism within facilities management.
Sponsoring the Facilities Management Awards 2026 was a clear choice for ECAT. CEO Francis Lyons said, “Our smart tech helps organisations carry out detailed inspections and audits while providing clear proof that high standards are being met. So, supporting the event was a natural fit.”
He added, “These awards recognise the collective effort involved in maintaining high standards across complex estates. They also shine a light on the organisations and individuals who work every day to ensure buildings and services operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.”
Along with Francis, Head of Customer Success Christopher English, Head of Sales Darragh Herd and Head of Marketing Zoe Tate attended the event and presented awards during the ceremony, including (Winners shown below, from left to right):
- FM Service Provider Professional of the Year – Shane Darcy SOS Group
- Overall Excellence in Facilities Management – McBreen Environmental
- Best Facility – NIE Networks
Darragh presented the final award of the evening, Overall Excellence in Facilities Management, with the shortlist drawn from the winners of the individual category awards.
With smart tech transforming facilities management for most businesses, the Facilities Management Awards are an important opportunity for the industry to come together in person, reconnect and discuss – as well as recognise – industry excellence, innovation and professionalism.
Francis said, “Facilities management is built on relationships and trust. Meeting people face-to-face allows you to have real conversations, share experiences and build connections. The audience was made up of the people responsible for managing services, compliance and operational performance across large estates. Those are exactly the organisations we support, so it was important for the whole ECAT team that we be platinum sponsors of the event – and join everyone in person on the night.”
ECAT would like to congratulate all nominees and winners recognised at the Facilities Management Awards 2026 and thank the organisers for delivering a fantastic celebration of the industry. ECAT looks forward to continuing to support the facilities management community and the organisations working to raise standards across the sector.
