Do you need to access our servers to implement ECAT?
No. All of ECAT’s functionality is cloud based and supported on ECAT servers. So no need to bother your already busy IT guys!
Where is my data saved?
All data is stored in one of Rackspace’s data centres in the UK. Rackspace is one of the world’s leading providers of managed cloud solutions.
Who needs to attend the training?
Anyone who will be actively administrating ECAT, i.e. those who will be creating audits, generating email alerts and running reports. Users do not need any IT expertise. Just a reasonable understanding of excel.
What support is available?
Our support team are available Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 GMT via Skype, Email, Phone or Live Chat.
Where can I get the ECAT app?
The ECAT app is available from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play Store, just search ‘ECAT’. We currently do not support Blackberry or Windows devices.
Do I need to have an internet connection while doing my audit?
No, you only need internet connectivity when submitting an audit or updating your device. You can conduct as many audits as you like offline. All data is saved to your device, so even if you take a call or your battery fails, your audits are safe.
How do I alert someone to an issue I have captured?
Anyone can receive an automated email alert to be notified that there is an issue. This alert will include the location of the issue, what the issue is, a picture of the issue and the date by which it needs to be resolved.
