ECAT Lite – Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ECAT Lite (“the Service”), a free version of the ECAT digital auditing platform. By signing up for and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility and Usage Limits
The Service is available to one user per company.
A maximum of twelve (12) inspections per year is permitted.
The Service is designed for self-selected building audits.
It may only be used within a single department (e.g., cleaning or health and safety).
Audit scoring is limited to “Pass” or “Fail.”
Support and Help Centre
The Help Centre consists of instructional videos only.
Essential support includes:
One-time user setup
Password reset assistance
Reporting and Data Retention
Upon submission of an audit, a summary report will be sent via email.
Audit data will be retained for three (3) months from the date of submission. After this period, all related data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Limitations of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without any warranties or guarantees of availability or performance.
ECAT is not responsible for any loss of data beyond the three-month retention period.
ECAT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
Modifications and Termination
ECAT reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
ECAT may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are violated.
By using ECAT Lite, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
